Envirovision Manufacturing Options

Finishes

Envirovision is manufactured from type 316 super polished stainless steel. This creates the smoothest and highest mirror finish obtainable, similar to chrome plating but without the none uniformity (ripples) a plating process adds.

As an option we are able to offer this finish PVD treated in Gold or Black. PVD means Physical Vapor Deposition. This is a high technology vacuum coating process in which highly energetic metal vapor and gas combine to form a ceramic like coating on the polished surface. The overall effect is to colour the surface a reflective black or gold. This is similar to a black chrome or a gold plated metal. Most notably there is perfect uniformity in coating thickness not found on conventional electroplating processes.

In addition, we also offer a brushed polish to the stainless steel. This is allows envirovision to remain in keeping with other brushed products commonly used in catering and hence proves very popular when fitted in the kitchen.

Mirror TV, Mirror Vision Television Screen

Finally we offer a choice between our standard none reflective screen and a Mirror Vision TV reflective screen, which is totally transparent when the screen displays its image and reverts to a mirror when the screen is switched off. Please note the Mirror TV option adds 4mm to the internal depth of the television.

Sky® Electronic Magic Eye

This option selected at manufacture, or fitted by the user later allows envirovision to control any sky digi box (not old analogue box) when cabled direct to the RF 2 output of any sky digi box, regardless where the digi box is located.®British sky broadcasting corp.

All System Remote Operation

This option selected at manufacture allows envirovision to receive commands from any other remote control including that of a DVD player, Hi Fi, VCR or cable box system and wirelessly transmit that information to a remote receiver. This controls the device in question. Extra receivers are available for more than one device. Therefore another device connected to envirovision no matter where located, can be controlled. 

Wall Mounted Control Panel

Allows operation of envirovision via a small wall mounted panel with buttons for channel selection, volume adjustment and input selection. Ideal for hotel installations where there is a risk of lost remote handsets.

Cat5 Audio Out

Cat5 during manufacture allows envirovisions stereo audio to be connected directly via unshielded twisted pair wiring to a compliant input or hub for audio transmission throughout the building.
